We know that the holidays are one of the most anticipated and celebrated season but equally it can be the most stressful as well. With 2020 being quite a unique year, adding Covid on top of it all can be daunting. As we get closer to the holiday season (Can you believe we are only 2 months away?!?!?) we wanted to share some of our ideas and tips to help you prepare for your 2020 holiday.
Although some states have lifted/adjusted their social distancing requirements and curfews, we know many will not be able to be close to their family and friends this holiday season. Getting ahead on your holiday gift shopping and shipping will play a huge role in alleviating some of that holiday headache. Below we have included some quick tips to get started on your planning.
- Make a list of all your recipients
Including their mailing addresses -this will help organize who you will need to mail out and who you can deliver to personally.
- Start planning out gift ideas and options
Brain dump ideas, just because you write it down doesn't mean it's set in stone. This will help get an idea of what you are looking for.
- Make a list of the items you want and need
Reference that brain dump list. If there are multiple components to the gift, list them out. If you are ordering from specific websites, jot them down.
- Set a gifting budget
We recommend creating an all encompassing gifting budget and respectful to each recipient budget
We know many might be saying it isn't even Halloween yet - trust us it will happen in a blink of an eye
- Allocate a designated location in your home to store all gifts until it's wrapping time
We included a free copy of our Holiday Shopping Sheet below to help get your prep on it's way.
We hope this quick list helps you get ahead and prevents some of that seasonal stress.
